PBC Children’s Ministry
Pilgrim’s Baptist Church is dedicated to leading young children by
teaching them how to follow Christ and put Him in the center of their lives.
We accomplish this in a large group classroom where children interact through games, singing,
Bible lessons, and small group interactions to grow deeper in the knowledge of Christ.
Our aim is for children to know that they are loved beyond measure by God
and they are created to love Christ and others.
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” III John 1:4
What should I expect?
When attending The Pilgrim’s Baptist Church, you should expect a weekly church experience for your child that is built on Biblical truth and tailored to their developmental level. We strive to provide opportunities to grow in their faith through prayer, singing, reading the Bible, and sharing with others. The Pilgrim’s Baptist Church has a wonderful group of teachers that rotate weekly to give diversity and the ability to connect with different adults in the church. We want children to feel safe, accepted, and loved, just as Christ loves us, and we want them to have fun! Our church strives to hold activities once a quarter for children outside of the classroom for extra opportunities to connect.
How do I check my child in?
Check-in will begin at least 10 minutes before the worship service starts at 10:00am. Parents/Guardians will fill out the check-in sheet and when the worship service begins, children will be seated in the front row to worship together. Children will be dismissed from the auditorium after the singing and will be led into the classroom by their teacher. Parents/Guardians can check-in their children after dismissal. After the worship service ends, Parents/Guardians will go to the classroom and sign out their child with the teacher.
December 2025 Theme:
Extra! Extra! Celebrate the Good News of Jesus’ Birth
In this Christmas season, we remember the moment that God sent His own Son, Jesus, to be born as a baby- a baby that would grow up to give His life for all of us so that we can have a restored relationship with God. We define Christmas as celebrating God’s greatest gift- Jesus!
